Diante deste espetáculo o sorriso do anjo voltou.

The story goes that God asked the angels to create flowers. Angels promptly and one by one began to choose the color, shape, texture and scent of each new flower. When the flowers were ready they took their delicate masterpiece for God to look at, bless, and thus start the blossoming of the new species.
The angels would draw close to God with roses, gerberas, orchids, carnations, violets, wild flowers and many others. God smiled at each of the angels, praised the flowers, blessed them and thus the gardens on Earth would be formed.
There was an angel that was a bit clumsy and very sensitive; he created a really delicate flower with many petals, each petal in a different color; excited about his flower he ran to show it to God, but on the way he tripped and dropped the flower. The flower was torn into pieces, and so was his heart.
God was close, and witnessing this disaster He bent down quickly picking each fallen petal from the floor to put them inside His robe. The angel watched the scene without a single movement. God then raised up carefully and shook his mantle. All the petals spread in the air, turned into butterflies of various colors. Watching this show the angel’s smile returned.
The Naim House* is where God has transformed petals of fallen flowers into colorful butterflies. Children of this welcome home miss a shoulder to lean on and cry, and share what goes inside their heart. Most of them are lonely children with no family reference.
In this blog we aim to share the philanthropic and pedagogical projects developed in the Educational Center St. Philip Neri ** with children and adolescents of the Naim House SP. Here we will display their beautiful works, their new dreams and their life that is reconstructed each and every day.
We have chosen the blog name, The Blue Butterfly because blue is the color of the of Mercy Alliance Association, and the blue butterfly affectionately symbolizes the Italian missionary Maria Paola (watch https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8HrYvUYWn7E), co-founder of the Mercy Alliance Association.
Maria Paola loved and devoted to the children of the Naim house and was much loved by them. On the very day of her death, after the fight against cancer, some children saw a blue butterfly flying across the yard. It was a great loss to the children and they associated the visit of the Blue butterfly to the presence of Maria Paola. Whenever the blue butterfly appears the children say "Maria Paola is among us." A unique butterfly that sees everything and everyone in the Nain House and appears only when it is necessary.
An Indian legend tells that the Blue Butterfly is a special creature and that the moment you see it, you need to present your dreams to it. The Blue Butterfly will take your dreams to God the Creator.
In this post Finding the Blue Butterfly we rescue a new hope in the beauty of the smile of children and in the flight of the butterflies.

Poxa!
